Drove from the last event, the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, directly to Houston, where he successfully Monday-qualified the next day for the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open. In his first TOUR start, opened with 68-69-68 and was T6 going into the final round. A 77, which included bogeys on the last four holes, dropped him to T42. He took home a check for $21,235.

Shell Houston Open

Drove from his last event, the Korn Ferry Tour's Chitimacha Louisiana Open, directly to Houston, where he successfully Monday-qualified. In his first PGA TOUR start, opened 68-69-68 and was tied for sixth going into the final round. A Sunday 77, which included bogeys on the last four holes, dropped him to T42. He still took home a check for $21,235.

Made his PGA TOUR Latinoamérica debut with a T3 finish at the Jockey Club in Buenos Aires. Held a share of the 36-hole lead after opening 65-67. Tied with amateur Juan Alvarez, Clodomiro Carranza, Steven Fox and Angel Cabrera, four shots shy of champion Kent Bulle.
