Played four years at Auburn University, where he was a member of the Tigers' 2002 Southeastern Conference Championship team. The Tigers finished fourth his freshman year and third in 2003.

Named to the SEC Academic team.

Helped his Swainsboro High School golf team win four consecutive regional championships
