2025 Season
Qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs for the 18th time in 19 seasons of the FedExCup era. Advanced to the TOUR Championship for the 11th time and first since the 2018-19 season, finishing T21 in the standings. Recorded five top-10s and made 12 cuts in 18 starts. Finished solo-second at the Masters Tournament, his third career runner-up finish in the event (2015, 2017, 2025). Earned the 12th title of his PGA TOUR career at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, his second career FedExCup Playoff victory and first since the 2011 BMW Championship. Automatic qualifier for Team Europe in the Ryder Cup, marking his seventh time appearing in the event.
FedEx St. Jude Championship
Earned his 12th PGA TOUR title at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship, defeating J.J. Spaun with a birdie-3 on the third playoff hole (No. 18) to win the first event in the 2025 FedExCup Playoffs. At 45 years and 11 days of age, became the oldest TOUR winner since Phil Mickelson (50 years, 11 months, 7 days) at the 2021 PGA Championship. Rose's win at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee also moved him to No. 9 in the Official World Golf Ranking, marking his first appearance in the top 10 since February 2020. Marked his first win on TOUR since the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and his first FedExCup Playoffs victory since the 2011 BMW Championship. Improved to 2-4 in playoffs on TOUR, with his previous playoff victory coming at the 2014 Quicken Loans National.
