The Tiger/Phil Effect
The highly anticipated showdown between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson is almost here.
The two greats face off Friday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. ET at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. Woods and Mickelson, who will be allowed to make side challenges during play - have combined for 122 PGA TOUR victories and 19 major championship titles.
The winner will walk away with $9 million. Both players have said they will donate the winnings to charity.

How to watch
The live event will be broadcast on a pay-per-view basis with a suggested retail price of $19.99. It can be ordered through major cable providers, including AT&T's DirecTV, U-Verse, Verizon and Comcast.
Format
Match play: A player earns a point if he wins a hole by recording the lowest score on that hole. The player with the most points at the end of play is the winner.
Side bets
Woods and Mickelson will be permitted to challenge each other with side bets, which could include up-and-down contests, long-drive competitions and closest-to-the-pin challenges, among others.
