Live blog: Updates on Tiger Woods, TOUR Championship, Round 4

Tiger Woods won for the first time since 2013, and Justin Rose claimed the FedExCup title on a dramatic Sunday at the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

Woods won his 80th event on the PGA TOUR and nearly won the FedExCup for the third time, but a clutch birdie on the final hole clinched the FedExCup for Rose, who will receive the $10 million bonus. Rose finished tied for fourth in the championship, good enough to finish atop of the FedExCup standings.

It was Woods’ first victory since the 2013 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Woods, who entered Sunday leading by three shots, had never lost an official event when leading by more than two shots going into the final round. His closing record is now 43-2 on the PGA Tour.
