SPOTTED: New Odyssey Stroke Lab 'Ten' and 'Bird of Prey' putters

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.V. -- On the practice putting green at The Old White TPC ahead of the 2019 A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier, Odyssey unveiled two all-new putter models to add to its extensive Stroke Lab line. Both of the putters, based on writing seen on their soles, are designed for “Super High MOI” (MOI stands for moment of intertia, a measure of energy transfer), which means they’re built for more forgiveness.

One of the new putters, called “Stroke Lab Ten,” had a number of different sightline options on the crowns of the putters that were spotted on the putting green. With a matte black finish, Odyssey is offering blank crowns, single white dots and thicker white lines on top of the Stroke Lab Ten putters, at least for the PGA TOUR players.

Additionally, Odyssey unveiled a Stroke Lab “Bird of Prey” putter. While only one style of sightline and design was seen on the putting green at the TOUR event, that doesn’t mean it’s the only one that exists.

“These are Odyssey prototype putters," said a Callaway/Odyssey representative. "As the #1 Putter in Golf and the #1 Putter on TOUR, we constantly work with the world’s best players on various prototype designs.”

Both of the new Stroke Lab putter models are equipped with Odyssey’s multi-material Stroke Lab shaft, and both putters appear to have weights on the bottom of the putter heads. They also both have Odyssey’s familiar Microhinge Insert in their face.

Enjoy PGATOUR.COM’s photos of the putters below, and we will update you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
