On Tuesday, Honma announced Justin Rose agreed to a multi-year partnership with the company, and he will also be playing Honma golf clubs. As per our initial report, a Honma representative speculated that Rose would play Honma T//World 747 Rose Proto MB irons.

Equipment fans wondered what those special irons would look like, but they didn’t have to wonder for long. Just hours after the announcement, Rose showed off his Rose Proto irons on his Twitter account; pictured in the photo are his 4 and 6 irons.

While we don’t know much about the designs or materials yet, we know from the photo that the Rose custom blades are forged.

Rumor has it that the Japan-based company will be releasing a product line in North America in 2019. It’s unlikely that Honma will offer “Rose Proto” irons at retail, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
