TaylorMade's Daddy Long Legs putter is getting an update more than two years after it debuted at the 2013 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The new Daddy Long Legs+ is made from 17 individual pieces and is being touted as the company's most technologically advanced and stable putter in the current lineup.

The high-MOI mallet features a 395-gram head and new 14-inch SuperStroke XL 2.0 grip with a 125-gram weight inside, as well as a lightweight True Temper steel shaft, that helps give the putter a counterbalanced feel.

Additional weight in the grip, combined with the lightweight shaft, puts 200 percent more weight above the hands, raising the balance point in the putter 2 inches for more stability and control.

“With Daddy Long Legs+, the stability and performance of our counterbalance putters have been taken to the next level,” said Clay Long, TaylorMade's senior director of product creation, putters. “We’ve taken one of our most popular putters of all time and added performance features to deliver a remarkably stable putting stroke, which golfers of all abilities can benefit from."

Through Tour feedback, a 13-gram, deep-milled 6061 aluminum insert — the same insert that was introduced with TaylorMade's Ghost Tour Black line — was added that delivers a smoother roll off the face. The deep milling marks on the face also dampen sound and enhance feedback.

Daddy Long Legs+ comes in a matte black finish with non-glare tour satin grey accents and contrasting lines for enhanced alignment. The putter retails for $249 and will be available July 15 in three lengths (34.5, 36 and 38 inches) with a single bend shaft.
