The postseason is upon us.
The top 70 in the season-long FedExCup standings are set for the FedEx St. Jude Championship, but only 50 will advance to the next leg of the Playoffs – the BMW Championship.
Recent 3M Open winner Jackson Koivun clung to the No. 70 spot last week at the Wyndham Championship, but will now need a great week in Memphis if he hopes to extend his miraculous rookie year. Koivun and the rest of the bubble will be trying to track down No. 50 Maverick McNealy.
Securing a spot in the top 50 not only keeps your postseason hopes alive, but it also ensures significant status for 2027. Every player who reaches the BMW Championship earns spots in each Signature Event next season.
The finish listed next to each player is the worst place they could finish on the leaderboard and still have a mathematical chance to move into the top 50. It doesn't mean they will clinch a spot in the Playoffs, just that they will move ahead of where No. 50 (McNealy) currently is.
