    The 2019-20 PGA TOUR season begins this week with A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier. The first tournament of the season also means the first Monday qualifier.

    Here’s a look at the four players who played their way into a tee time at The Greenbrier Resort’s Old White TPC. The Monday qualifier was held at The Resort at Glade Springs’ Cobb Course in Daniels, West Virginia (Note: Monday’s score in parentheses).

    STEVE ALLAN (65)
    Age: 45
    Hometown: Melbourne, Australia
    PGA TOUR starts: 212
    Cuts made: 100
    Best finish: 2nd, twice
    Notes: Runner-up in the 2003 Greater Milwaukee Open and 2004 Barracuda Championship, where he lost a playoff to Vaughn Taylor. … Had eight PGA TOUR seasons where he made at least 15 starts (2001-05, 2007-09). … Made his only FedExCup Playoffs appearance in the inaugural season (2007), finishing 121st in the season-long standings. … Also won the 1998 German Open and 2002 Australian Open. … Has also made 164 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour. … A runner-up to Andrew Landry in 2015 is Allan’s best career finish. … This week’s A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier will be Allan’s ninth PGA TOUR start since 2010. … Monday qualified for two events last season.
