NOTES: Age as of Sept. 12, 2019 | An asterisk beside a salary indicates a bargain.
Rank | Player | Age | 2018-19 earnings | Status | Comment |
| Denny McCarthy | 26 | 925K* | Top 125. | Exempt from the reshuffle in 2018-19, half of his 16 cuts made in 28 starts went were top 25s. Also led TOUR in Strokes Gained: Putting. Now entering his third season, expect something special. |
| Maverick McNealy | 23 | 13K* | Rookie. KFT Finals. | The former all-everything at Stanford worked in two years of grooming before his call-up. He's a household name as rookies are concerned and he didn't lose any potential, but ease into him. |
| Patton Kizzire | 33 | 995K* | Top 125. | As a late bloomer on this stage, there's reason to be skeptical of him coming off a down season, but he's already secure through 2020-21 (for winning twice in 2017-18). |
| Henrik Norlander | 32 | 14K* | KFT Finals. | When he lost in a playoff at the 2016 RSM Classic on a sponsor exemption after losing his card, you knew that he'd be back, and after another monster season on the KFT. Full of swagger, confidence. |
| Haotong Li | 24 | 716K* | OWGR Top 50. | Essentially the same value as this time last year, but with another year of experience, so he slides up a notch or two on the list of non-members to help spell starts in the WGCs. |
| Max Homa | 28 | 2.063M | Top 60. | Breaking through on a big boy of a track like Quail Hollow proves that he belongs, but it was one of only three top 25s in 25 starts in his return to the PGA TOUR. Remain cautiously optimistic. |
| Adam Schenk | 27 | 1.257M* | Top 80. | Dark horse. So much of what this guy presents is exciting. A strong, balanced bag yielded three top 10s among nine top 25s in a whopping 31 starts last season. Third year often is the charm. |
| Danny Willett | 31 | 1.286M | Top 125. | One of the better secondary stories, he put injury and other distractions behind him and parlayed a win last November in Dubai into a sparkling PGA TOUR season. Still exempt into all of the majors. |
| Luke List | 34 | 1.391M | Top 125. | Since his rookie season of 2013, he's cracked the FedExCup top 90 only twice (in five tries). Also seriously curtailed to 22 starts last season and ended it 0-for-6. He's better than that. It's confusing. |
| Zach Johnson | 43 | 603K* | Multi-year. | A short hitter on the wrong side of 40, but his combination of GIR (180th) and putting: birdies-or-better (T163) was alarming en route to 154th in the FedExCup in his first season without Damon Green. |
| Robert Streb | 32 | 796K | KFT Finals. | No one may be more excited to open the season at Greenbrier where he's 5-for-5 with a pair of runner-up finishes. It could be the launching pad as he begins already his eighth season on TOUR. |
| Bradon Hagy | 28 | 14K* | KFT Finals. | After teasing us late on the 2018 KFT, he went just 1-for-13 on the PGA TOUR in 2018-19, and then regained fully exempt status at the Finals. Also has 11 starts on a Major Medical. Fingers crossed. |
| Kristoffer Ventura | 24 | 34K* | Rookie. KFT Finals. | The former teammate of Matthew Wolff and fellow Norwegian, Viktor Hovland, at Oklahoma State turned a sponsor exemption into a T3 in June. Two wins and another third followed. |
| Scott Stallings | 34 | 1.080M | Top 125. | Had teased us with some consistency, but he's still the same commodity in the long-term. League contenders own veterans who play a ton and know how to get to the Playoffs despite quiet seasons. |
| Sam Ryder | 29 | 1.060M* | Top 125. | Grinded through an injured left wrist midseason and recorded only one top 30 in his last 20 starts, but he missed just six cuts. Solid throughout his bag and entering his third season. Lots to love here. |
| Jamie Lovemark | 31 | 145K* | Major Medical. | Missed over six months with a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder, so he has 20 starts to earn 309.435 FedExCup points. Approach him as if he has a full season's worth of playing time. |
| Matthew NeSmith | 25 | -- | Rookie. KFT Finals. | It all came together for the Gamecock. He bought a house, he's getting married (on Nov. 1) and he won the second Finals events for his TOUR card. Led his circuit in greens in regulation. |
| Charl Schwartzel | 35 | 232K* | Major Medical. | Didn't play after missing the cut in NOLA in late April due to a wrist injury. Given 12 starts to earn 262.332 FedExCup points. Doesn't play often, anyway, so he'll unlikely feel pressure. |
| Martin Laird | 36 | 863K* | Top 125. | Snuck inside the bubble late despite four top 10s because three were in opposite events and the other occurred at the team event in New Orleans. Still balanced and young enough to do damage. |
| Harold Varner III | 29 | 1.553M | Top 60. | A T3 at THE NORTHERN TRUST was well-timed but it skews an otherwise pedestrian season. He's mid- to late-round value who plays a lot. Suited best for full-season formats. |
| K.H. Lee | 28 | 1.061M | Top 125. | Whenever an unheralded rookie makes the Playoffs, it's impressive, but he already was on a steady rise after three seasons on the KFT. Plug him in for the long-term and see what he will continue to do. |
| Ryan Armour | 43 | 955K | Top 125. | Similar to fellow veteran Vaughn Taylor, who is 11 days younger, Armour is basking in his golden years as a touring professional. Horse for shorter courses. Deadly accurate off the tee and on approach. |
| Brian Stuard | 36 | 1.320M | Top 125. | His value is realized in the long-term. He'll threaten if not exceed 30 starts and toss up numerous top 25s. Three top 10s in each of the last two seasons are bonuses. Accurate off the tee and on approach. |
| Tyler McCumber | 28 | 46K* | Rookie. KFT Finals. | The three-time winner on the Mackenzie Tour in 2018 wasted no time in parlaying that promotion into another with a solid season on the KFT. Son of 10-time TOUR winner Mark McCumber. |
| Lucas Bjerregaard | 28 | 1.324M | Non-member Top 125. | Secured status primarily with the fourth-place finish at the Match Play. That asks more questions about value than it answers because of the format. Unproven dual-tour option. Patience. |
| Brian Gay | 47 | 1.029M | Top 125. | Gotta tip your visor to the busy veteran. At this stage of his career, everything he yields is a bonus, but limit him to fortification in deep full-season formats. |
| Scott Brown | 36 | 999K | Top 125. | Always manufactures a season worthy of a return but rarely in the spotlight. Because he stays busy, if you're scrounging for a late draft pick, give him a chance and let him do this thing. |
| Tom Lewis | 28 | 302K* | Rookie. KFT Finals. | The Englishman is 1-for-1 on the KFT with a win at the KFT Championship, and he barely qualified for the Finals via non-members FedExCup points. How he juggles the European Tour will be key. |
| Nick Watney | 38 | 1.008M | Top 125. | He's rebounded well since the herniated disc that derailed his 2015-16 season, and with 40 approaching, he's evolved into a complementary piece to elevate the floor of a roster. Little risk, little reward. |
| Andrew Landry | 32 | 887K* | Top 125. | It was refreshing that he acknowledged that golf took a backseat after his first born and first TOUR title (both in spring of 2018). So, we're still learning how he profiles. Worth a late flier. |
| Eddie Pepperell | 28 | 1.054M | OWGR Top 50. | Because he has a strong fan base, there will be full-season investors who won't resist, but he's a non-member who's still learning the courses in the U.S. Worth consideration in spot starts only. |
| Sepp Straka | 26 | 934K* | Top 125. | He was overshadowed by other rookies in 2018-19, but a late surge cemented his sophomore season. The confident University of Georgia product finished 37th in the all-around ranking. Arrow up. |
| Nate Lashley | 36 | 2.030M | Top 60. | One of the best stories of the year in the mainstream set up the possibility for the win in Detroit by playing into conditional status with a medical extension. Despite success, better used in weekly formats. |
| Tom Hoge | 30 | 573K | KFT Finals. | Back in his familiar territory of the reshuffle where he plied his craft for four consecutive seasons to start his PGA TOUR career. Look for him to start hot as he's played great in the last two months. |
| Doug Ghim | 23 | 243K* | Rookie. KFT Finals. | If you haven't followed his career, your last vision – at least until his card-clinching putt at the KFT Championship – was the epic battle (and loss) to Doc Redman in the 2017 U.S. Amateur. Baller. |
| Bronson Burgoon | 32 | 814K | KFT Finals. | Also has a Minor Medical to clear 32.720 FedExCup points in six starts for a promotion. Expect him to earn it, but remain patient given his reluctance to play as often as he can. |
| Jimmy Walker | 40 | 590K* | Multi-year (through 2020-21). | Last season never got off the ground, and even though he maintained a typical schedule, he was no doubt juggling the challenges of his wife's own and newer battle with Lyme disease. |
| Roger Sloan | 32 | 1.015M | Top 125. | The Canuck enjoyed a massive turnaround from his foray with a TOUR card in 2015. Evolved into a DFS favorite in shootouts. As a result, he's poised to start 2019-20 like a sprinter. |
| Nick Taylor | 31 | 892K | Top 125. | Survived a career-best 21 cuts but averaged fewer than 20 FedExCup points per. Second straight season from 120-125 in the standings. That consistent production presents value in many formats. |
| Aaron Baddeley | 38 | 904K | Top 125. | Although conditionally exempt last season, he was content with securing fully exempt status for 2019-20 and WD early thrice in the second half. A back injury ended his season. Still a phenomenal putter. |
| Carlos Ortiz | 28 | 1.073M | Top 125. | Stayed afloat with four well-positioned top 15s among only 14 cuts made in his return to TOUR after a three-year hiatus. Can't rule out the impact of the Nappy Factor after his first born in May of 2018. |
| Jason Dufner | 42 | 926K | Multi-year. | Benefited by the three-year exemption for winning at Memorial in 2017, he's been on a slide ever since. If he'd improve his putting even a little, the upswing would be noticeable. Monitor this specifically. |
| Sebastian Munoz | 26 | 946K | Top 125. | Delivered with his back against the wall late, but he scattered three top 10s and a pair of 11th-place finishes in 26 starts. Now exempt from the reshuffle, there's reason to be giddy about what's next. |
| Sung Kang | 32 | 2.801M | Top 60. | He's been all over the board, so it makes sense why he's always profiled as a surprise. Winning the AT&T Byron Nelson affords security, but that doesn't mean that you feel safer. Invest in the reps. |
| Cameron Tringale | 32 | 1.049M | Top 125. | Terrific example of capitalizing on opportunity. Finished 195th in the 2017-18 FedExCup, and then 23rd at the 2018 KFT Finals with a T3 at the wire. Got married and now fully exempt again. |
| Bill Haas | 37 | 730K* | Conditional. | Should continue to receive lion's share of sponsor exemptions when necessary. After the horrible experience early in 2018, he buttoned up his game in 2018-19 also on conditional status. Rebound candidate. |
| Brendon Todd | 34 | 252K* | KFT Finals. | Suffice it to say that he's solved the issue in hitting long irons right. Thing is, the one-time winner popped into our consciousness a few times before the Finals. Seriously intriguing now that he's back. |
| Zack Sucher | 32 | 753K | Conditional. | Paid off observant gamers with the co-runner-up at the Travelers. Entering his prime and healthy again, he presents as a potentially electric option both in the short- and long-term. |
| Xinjun Zhang | 32 | -- | KFT Finals. | Led the KFT's regular season in points before giving way to Scottie Scheffler in the Finals. Zhang scattered two wins among seven top 10s and ranked second in the all-around. China's No. 2 in the OWGR. |
| Brendan Steele | 36 | 515K* | Multi-year. | Talk about precipitous drop-offs, he hadn't finished outside the top 80 in the FedExCup in seven years before settling at 171st last season with a late surge. Fully exempt and worth a (late) call. |
