EvnRoll’s new ER10 Outback putter hits retail

EvnRoll’s new ER10 Outback putter, which was first spotted by PGATOUR.COM at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in J.J. Henry’s bag, is now available to the public.

Guerin Rife, a longtime golf club designer, designed the ER10 Outback putter with greater stability in mind. The face-balanced mallet head has a lightweight 6061 aluminum body, which has a “Black Armor” finish, and it has a boomerang-shaped weight made of 303 stainless steel in the rear portion of the head, according to the company. EvnRoll says the “boomerang” shape inspired the “Outback” name, due to the Australian connection.

Additionally, the ER10 putters have EvnRoll’s familiar “Sweet Face” inserts that the company says helps deliver consistent speeds across the face. The overall design of the heads are said to create an “ultra-high” MOI (moment of inertia), and thus more forgiveness on off-center strikes.

The putters are CNC-milled in Carlsbad, California to exact specifications, according to EvnRoll, which helps produce proper weighting even at different lengths. Also, like the bodies of the putters, the single-bend shafts come with a “Black Armor” finish.

The putters come stock with 90-gram EvnRoll grips, but EvenRoll’s “Gravity Grips” are also available for an upcharge. The Gravity Grips have 35-gram bodies made of EVA foam, but they have a 70-gram rod that runs the length of the grip in its lower spine. This design, according to EvnRoll, moves weight directly below the shaft and helps the hands maintain a square face through impact.

EvnRoll’s ER10 Outback putters are available in 33-, 34- and 35-inch lengths, selling for $399 with a standard pistol grip and $419 with the Gravity Grip.
