What's in the bag: Tony Romo, Safeway Open
1 Min Read
NAPA, Calif. – Tony Romo is competing in the 2020 Safeway Open Pro-Am alongside Justin Thomas on Wednesday, and then he’s competing in the Safeway Open on Thursday and Friday (and hopefully into the weekend). On Wednesday, PGATOUR.COM caught up with Romo to see what equipment he’s using during the event.
As many will notice, Romo has shelved the old Nike Method putter, which was a hand-me-down from Tiger Woods. Romo assured PGATOUR.COM that he has Woods’ old putter in a “safe place.” He’s also taken out his Jordan Spieth hand-me-down Titleist Vokey wedges, and he’s replaced them with what he referred to as “replicas” of those wedges, except with his own personal stampings on them.
