Personal

• Would like to someday make charitable work a priority. Would also enjoy being a part owner of a golf course. Is also interested in golf course architecture.
• Favorite place is Scottsdale because of the great golf, his best friends are there and all the college memories made nearby.
• Grew up in a small community on the Mexican border and attended preschool through fourth grade in Nogales Sonora, Mexico. He's fluent in Spanish. His father was born and raised in Mexico and still has business interests there.
• Can play musical instruments without any teaching or training.
• Favorite athletes are Rory McIlroy, Tom Brady and Kobe Bryant, and his favorite teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Denver Broncos and Liverpool FC.
• Favorite music artists are Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Travis Scott and Drake.

Career Highlights

2019 Season

• Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-USA WEST 2: Shot 4-under through four days at Wigwam Resort to place T11 and earn exempt status through the first half of the Mackenzie Tour season.

2017 Season

• PTLA Qualifying Tournament-Mexico: Earned exempt status for the first half of the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season by finishing solo fifth at the Mexico Q-School in January.

2012 Season

• U.S. Open: Qualified for the U.S. Open as an amateur. Shot 72-77 to miss the cut at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.

Amateur Highlights

• At age 17, played the U.S. Open with his father caddying.
