The scenic seventh hole hosts a new event on Wednesday leading up to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The $1 million Hole-In-One For Charity Presented by Facebook will feature 32 celebrity golfers trying to make an ace at the iconic hole. The event, which is hosted by Clint Eastwood and Jim Nantz, will be held at 3 p.m.
The 32 participants will each hit two shots on the seventh hole with the three closest to the pin qualifying for the finals. Those three players will then get one more shot for the ace that would earn $1 million.
The first player to make a hole-in-one during the qualifying competition will earn $100,000 for their charity. If no one makes an ace during the qualifying or the finals, the celebrity closest to the pin in the finals earns $50,000 for their charity.
Among the celebrities competing are Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg, Carson Daly, Jake Owen, Kunal Nayyar, and Ray Romano as well as sports stars Josh Donaldson, Chris Berman, Jim Harbaugh, Aaron Rodgers, Wayne Gretzky, Alex Smith, Kelly Slater and Larry Fitzgerald.
The charity event is being taped and will be a part of the CBS telecast of the tournament.
