The 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season continues this week with the inaugural Colonial Life Charity Classic at The Woodcreek Club in Elgin, South Carolina. The event marks the 10th tournament of this season's 25-event schedule and is one of two new events on Tour this season (along with OccuNet Classic presented by Amarillo National Bank, June 11-14).
Notables in the field
- Jay Card III stands No. 22 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of a career-high finish (T2) at the LECOM Suncoast Classic. Card, who previously played the 2022 and 2023 seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour, regained membership with a No. 2 finish on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List with two wins. Card played one season of college golf at High Point University (2013-14), where he earned a bachelor's degree in music performance; he studied opera, and plays the flute, oboe, and saxophone.
- Ben Carr stands No. 37 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with top 10s in two of his last three starts (T7/Club Car Championship; eighth/ Tulum Championship). Carr, the runner-up finisher at the 2022 U.S. Amateur Championship (lost to Sam Bennett in the championship match), earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2026 via Final Stage of 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
- Mitchell Meissner, a native of Charleston, South Carolina, stands No. 21 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of a T2 finish at the LECOM Suncoast Classic. Now in his fourth consecutive season on Tour, Meissner finished No. 21 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, one position shy of PGA TOUR membership. Swings right-handed, but began putting left-handed in fall 2017.
- In his 31st career start, Dylan Menante won the 2026 Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya for his first Korn Ferry Tour title. Menante retained full status for the 2026 season with a No. 53 finish on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List as a rookie, with his season-high finish being T3 at the 2025 Visit Knoxville Open. Menante finished No. 15 in the 2024 PGA TOUR University Ranking after three seasons at Pepperdine University (2019-22) and two at University of North Carolina (2022-24).
- James Nicholas stands No. 7 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of his victory at the Astara Golf Championship. Nicholas finished No. 64 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, earning full status for the first time. Nicholas played four seasons at Yale University (2015-19), where he earned five individual victories and was named the 2018 and 2019 Ivy League Player of the Year.

- The Woodcreek Club features a Tom Fazio-designed course with Calcutta Bermuda greens installed in 2023. The Woodcreek Club notably hosted the 2013 South Carolina Amateur Championship -- won by Anderson, South Carolina native Carson Young, who won the 2022 Panama Championship en route to earning PGA TOUR membership via the Korn FerryTour.
- Field includes 17 PGA TOUR winners with 34 total victories, led Jonathan Byrd and Carl Pettersson with five wins apiece.
