Camilo Villegas came from four shots back on Sunday to capture his first PGA TOUR title in four years at the Wyndham Championship. Villegas fired a final round 7-under 63 to best Bill Haas and Freddie Jacobsen by one shot.
As far as his equipment is concerned, Villegas became the first player on the PGA TOUR to win an event with a 13-degree driver. He currently uses a 13-degree TaylorMade JetSpeed HL (High Launch) because he generates very little spin with the longest club in his bag. The lack of spin is also why he uses the TaylorMade's highest lofted Rescue club — a 24-degree SLDR.
Here's a look at the rest of the clubs Villegas used at Sedgefield Country Club:
Driver: TaylorMade JetSpeed HL (13 degrees; Matrix VLCT 60T shaft)
3-wood: TaylorMade SLDR (17 degrees; Matrix Ozik Code 8X shaft)
5-wood: TaylorMade SLDR (21 degrees; Matrix Ozik Code 8X shaft)
Hybrid: TaylorMade SLDR Rescue (24 degrees; Project X HB6 shaft)
Irons: TaylorMade Tour Preferred CB (5-PW; Royal Precision Rifle FCM 6.5 shafts)
Wedges: TaylorMade Tour Preferred ATV (52, 58, 60; Royal Precision Rifle FCM 6.5 shafts)
Putter: Scotty Cameron SB+ Tour Only
Ball: TaylorMade Tour Preferred
