    The 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season resumes with the 119th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro, the fifth tournament of the 25-event schedule and the third of five events to be contested in Latin America.

    Notables in the field

    • Ian Holt, who finished runner-up at the 118th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro, stands atop the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of his two early-season wins at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club and The Panama Championship. He became the first player in Tour history to win two of the season's first three events. Holt is the highest-ranked player in this week's field at No. 107 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
    • James Nicholas captured his first Korn Ferry Tour victory last time out at the Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard in Bogota, Colombia, in his 69th career start on Tour. Nicholas made eagle on the 72nd hole to card a final-round, 6-under 66 and claim a two-stroke victory. Nicholas entered the 2026 season with two top 10s in 65 career starts.
    • 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Justin Suh captured his second career Korn Ferry Tour victory at the 118th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro. By virtue of his win, Suh earned an exemption to the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush. Suh went on to finish No. 24 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List.
    • Argentine Jorge Fernández Valdés – winner of the 115th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro – will make his 13th career start at his country's national open. Valdés is coming off his third top-25 finish of the season with a T25 at the Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard. He stands No. 14 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List off the strength of his three top-25 finishes, which include two top 10s. He recorded three top 25s all of last season in 22 starts on Tour.
    • Mason Andersen won the 117th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro for his first Korn Ferry Tour victory en route to earning his first PGA TOUR card with a No. 22 finish on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List (top 30). Through four starts this season, Andersen owns three top-25 finishes with two top 10s and currently stands No. 8 on the 2026 Points List.

    Tournament notes

    • This will be the third consecutive season in which the Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro will be contested on the Korn Ferry Tour schedule, and the second consecutive playing of the event at the Jockey Club.
    • Through its partnership with The R&A, the 119th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro will award an exemption to The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale as part of The Open Qualifying Series.
    • Suh captured his second career Korn Ferry Tour victory with his record-setting win at the 118th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro and earned an exemption to the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush. Suh set the 72-hole tournament scoring record with a 23-under 257 (64- 68-60-65), claiming a five-stroke victory over a trio of runners-up, including 2026 two-time winner Holt and 2025 Korn Ferry Tour graduate S.H. Kim. En route to his 72-hole tournament scoring record, Suh also broke the single-round tournament scoring record with a bogey-free 10-under 60 in the third round.
    • The field includes 11 PGA TOUR winners with 23 total victories, led by five-time winner Jonathan Byrd.
    • The field includes 54 Korn Ferry Tour winners with 77 career victories, led by Ben Kohles and Robby Shelton with four wins each.
