The Korn Ferry Tour season resumes with the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, the 23rd event of the 26-event season, and the first of four events in the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals. This week's field is comprised of 156 qualifiers (137 players are currently in the field) on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. The field does not feature an alternate list should any players withdraw.
Eighteen-year-old professional Blades Brown, a native of nearby Nashville, Tennessee, earned Special Temporary Membership for the remainder of the 2025 season and stands No. 75 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with two top 10s across 10 starts this season, highlighted by a T2 finish at the Veritex Bank Championship. Brown was 17 years old at the time of his co-runner-up finish, which marked the highest finish by a player under the age of 18 in Korn Ferry Tour history.
Upon conclusion of this week's Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, the top 144 players on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will qualify for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, the second of four Finals events. This year marks the ninth playing of the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, with Vanderbilt Legends Club hosting for a second consecutive year.
Paul Peterson, now a PGA TOUR rookie, won the 2024 Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation en route to securing TOUR membership at season's end. Peterson carded a bogey-free 2-under 33 on the back nine in the final round to close out a one-stroke victory over Matt Atkins. Three of the top seven finishers from the 2024 Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation went on to earn PGA TOUR membership at season's end: Paul Peterson (winner), Max McGreevy (T3), Ryan Gerard (T3).
