Defending champion Richard Green capped a bogey-free, 7-under 63 with an eagle at the par-5 18th on Friday to share the lead with PGA of America club professional Rob Labritz at the 13th playing of the Rogers Charity Classic. The pair sits one clear of Miguel Angel Jiménez.

Richard Green, 33-30 – 63 (-7)

  • Carded a bogey-free, 7-under 63 with five birdies and an eagle at the par-5 18th, playing his back nine in 5-under 30
  • The defending champion seeks his second win on PGA TOUR Champions; lone title came here a year ago, when he closed with 65 to defeat Ricardo González by one stroke at 18-under 192
    • Would become the second player to win the event in consecutive years, joining Scott McCarron (2017-18)
    • Owns a win (2025) and a runner-up finish (2024) in his last two starts at Canyon Meadows, and has carded 8-under 62 at the course in each of the past two years

    • Marks his lowest 18-hole round on PGA TOUR Champions (previous low: 66, in his first start at the 2026 Chubb Classic)
  • The 55-year-old PGA of America club professional and longtime director of golf at GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, New York, seeks his first win on PGA TOUR Champions in his fifth season on Tour
  • Playing this week on a sponsor exemption, making his seventh start of the 2026 PGA TOUR Champions season

  • Miguel Angel Jiménez (third) carded seven birdies against a lone bogey for his second consecutive round of 64, following his final-round 64 at last week’s Boeing Classic, where he lost to Stewart Cink on the first playoff hole (No. 18). The 62-year-old seeks his first win of the 2026 season; he entered the week ranked No. 8 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings and is projected No. 5.
  • Six players share fourth at 5-under 65: Michael Allen, Jason Caron, Thongchai Jaidee, Ryan Armour, Jerry Kelly and Michael Block.

  • Cameron Beckman (T48) made a hole-in-one at the 174-yard, par-3 fifth, the ninth hole-in-one in Rogers Charity Classic history (previous: Ken Tanigawa, 2024/Round 2/hole 16).
