Darren Clarke and Michael Wright each matched 7-under 65s to share the first-round lead at the Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO.
Darren Clarke, 34-31 – 65 (7 under)
- Eagled two of his last four holes (Nos. 15 and 18), playing the par 5s in 6-under for the day, en route to an opening 7-under 65.
- This is his low 18-hole score at Tiburón Golf Club (13th round).
