PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – PGA Tour Champions announced Wednesday the schedule for its 2027 season, which features 27 events and will conclude at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix. The 24-event regular season will kick off with back-to-back weeks in the Aloha State as the Sony Championship Hawaii makes its debut Jan. 14-16 in Honolulu, followed by the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai in Ka’upulehu-Kona, Jan. 21-23 (both events will feature a Saturday finish).

In total, Champions Tour golfers will visit 18 states and three other countries (Wales, Portugal, Canada). The 2027 season will have players competing for more than $70 million in total prize money.

“With the Charles Schwab Cup coming to a thrilling finish in two weeks, I’m excited to announce the 2027 PGA Tour Champions schedule,” said PGA Tour Champions President Miller Brady. “Hawaii has long been synonymous with PGA Tour golf, and we are looking forward to opening the season with back-to-back events in one of the world’s most stunning locales. The commitment we’ve seen from our players, partners and fans continues to create strong momentum for the Champions Tour, and I know 2027 will deliver another incredible year for some of the game’s legendary players.”

Following the season-opening events in Hawaii, the Chubb Classic will celebrate its 40th anniversary the week of Feb. 12-14 in Naples, Florida, before giving way to a busy stretch of events in March, including the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton, Florida (March 5-7), the Cologuard Classic in Tucson, Arizona (March 19-21) and the Hoag Senior Players Championship Newport Beach in Newport Beach, California (March 25-28), which makes its debut as one of five senior major championships in 2027. PGA Tour Champions continues its tradition of playing at Newport Beach Country Club, which dates back to 1996.

The week after the Masters Tournament, the Senior PGA Championship returns to The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida (April 15-18), following a successful first stint as host course in 2026.

Following the Senior PGA Championship, PGA Tour Champions contests events for three straight weeks, starting with The Insperity in The Woodlands, Texas (April 30-May 2), the Mitsubishi Electric Classic in Duluth, Georgia (May 7-9) and the year’s third senior major – the Regions Tradition – returning to Birmingham, Alabama (May 13-16). The Mitsubishi Electric Classic will be contested with Modified Stableford scoring for the second time.

June begins with the Principal Charity Classic (June 4-6) in Des Moines, Iowa, followed by the American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, Wisconsin (June 11-13), which returns to University Ridge Golf Club for the first time since 2024 and will again feature the Tour’s only two-man team format.

The 20th annual DICK’S Open will be played at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, New York, the week of June 25-27, followed by the U.S. Senior Open, to be contested at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Oklahoma, July 1-4. Oak Tree National played host to the 1984 U.S. Amateur, 1988 PGA Championship and 2014 U.S. Senior Open, won by World Golf Hall of Fame member Colin Montgomerie.

The ISPS HANDA Senior Open returns to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in Wales for the fourth time (2014, 2017, 2023) and will be played July 22-25. The event marks a two-week stretch of PGA Tour Champions golf in Europe, as the Portugal Invitational, hosted by World Golf Hall of Fame member Ernie Els, will be held July 30-Aug. 1 at The Els Club Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal, after a successful debut in 2026.
