Through two of four Route 66 Cup events in 2026, veteran pros Zack Fischer and Drew Nesbitt share the top spot on the Route 66 Cup standings, each having captured their first Korn Ferry Tour title in dramatic fashion along Route 66. Fischer won the inaugural OccuNet Classic presented by Amarillo National Bank in his home state of Texas in early June, also the first event of the inaugural Route 66 Cup. Two weeks later, Canada's Nesbitt broke through at the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS in Springfield, Illinois, adding his name to the list of Route 66 Cup contenders.
"I'm just really proud of myself. Something I believed in, but until you actually do it, you're not ever really certain," Nesbitt said of cementing his first Korn Ferry Tour title at age 31. "So it's just pretty special to be able to say I'm a Korn Ferry Tour winner, like no one can take it away from you."
