Doc Redman makes eagle putt on No. 16 at BMW Charity Pro-Am
The 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season continues with the 34th playing of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, the 13th tournament of this season's 25-event schedule. The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a one-of-a-kind event on the Korn Ferry Tour featuring celebrities and amateurs playing alongside professionals. Notable celebrities this year include Academy Award-nominated actor Bill Murray, two-time All-Pro First Team wide receiver Steve Smith Sr., Furman University alum and former United States Men's National Soccer Team member Clint Dempsey, and seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens.
The field includes 16 PGA TOUR winners with 31 total victories, led by Aaron Baddeley and Scott Piercy with four wins apiece. Additionally, 69 Korn Ferry Tour winners with 107 career victories are competing, led by four-time winners Chesson Hadley, Ben Kohles, D.A. Points and Robby Shelton. Three past champions of the BMW Charity Pro-Am are in the field: Richy Werenski (2016), Rhein Gibson (2019), and Robby Shelton (2022).
Seven players in the field stand in the top 200 of the Official World Golf Ranking: Blades Brown (No. 105), Doc Redman (No. 115), Ian Holt (No. 133), Davis Lamb (No. 160), Jeremy Gandon (No. 171), Carson Young (No. 180) and Alistair Docherty (No. 198). Ian Holt and Doc Redman, Nos. 1 and 2 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, respectively, are the only two multi-time winners this season.
Upon conclusion of the 25-event Korn Ferry Tour season, the top 20 players on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will be awarded PGA TOUR cards for the 2027 season. Additionally, the player who finishes No. 1 will earn exemptions for the 2027 PLAYERS Championship and 2027 U.S. Open.

Notables in the field
- Bryson Nimmer, who earned his first Korn Ferry Tour title at the 2025 Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya, stands No. 82 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Nimmer is a Bluffton, South Carolina, native and Clemson University alum. In four seasons at Clemson (2015-19), he earned four individual victories and was the 2018-19 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year.
- Alvaro Ortiz rose to No. 14 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with a win at last week's UNC Health Championship – his first Korn Ferry Tour title. Ortiz finished in the top 75 of the Korn Ferry Tour Points List each of the last two seasons, highlighted by a No. 26 finish last year, when the top 20 players earned PGA TOUR membership for the 2026 season. Ortiz is making his tournament debut this week.
- Turk Pettit rose to No. 48 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with a T5 at last week's UNC Health Championship, his second top-five finish in the last three events (T4/Colonial Life Charity Classic). Pettit, a Clemson University alum who earned individual medalist honors at the 2021 NCAA Championship, earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2026 by virtue of qualifying for Final Stage of 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
- Trent Phillips, a Spartanburg, South Carolina, native, stands No. 34 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Phillips has finished in the top 75 of the Korn Ferry Tour Points List for three consecutive seasons, with his best finish being No. 27 last year. Phillips plays from Inman, South Carolina, and was a three-time Jay Haas Player of the Year Award winner (2015, 2016, 2017) – which recognizes the South Carolina Junior Golf Association Player of the Year.
- Doc Redman is within 33 points of the No. 1 position on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List with wins at the Astara Chile Classic presented by Scotiabank and Visit Knoxville Open. The 2017 U.S. Amateur Championship winner, Redman played two seasons at Clemson University (2016-18), where he earned two individual victories and broke the school record for career scoring average.
- Ian Holt and Doc Redman, Nos. 1 and 2 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, respectively, are the only two multi-time winners this season. Should either win for a third time this season, they will earn an automatic promotion to the PGA TOUR via the Three-Victory Promotion.
