This will mark the ninth playing of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club. The Landings Golf & Athletic Club's Deer Creek Course has hosted every iteration of the event since its inception in 2018. Tune into Golf Channel this Thursday-Sunday for coverage and read below for full coverage details.
Notables in the field
- Rookie Carson Bacha finished T4 in the most recent Korn Ferry Tour event, the Astara Chile Classic presented by Scotiabank, marking his fourth consecutive top 25 and a career-high finish. Bacha earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for the first time this season with a No. 10 finish on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List. Bacha also finished No. 14 in the 2025 PGA TOUR University Ranking.
- At the 2025 Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, Blades Brown finished T41 in his first Korn Ferry Tour debut. Brown went on to finish No. 68 on the 2025 Points List, securing full status for the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Season. Brown is coming off a T40 finish at last week's Valspar Championship on the PGA TOUR, having earned the additional TOUR start with a solo-third finish at the Puerto Rico Open earlier this month.
- Defending champion Jeremy Gandon returns to the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, where he earned his first Korn Ferry Tour victory in 2025. Last season, Gandon defeated Rick Lamb with a birdie on the first hole (par-5 18th) for the title. Gandon went on to finish No. 22 on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, though only the top 20 earned PGA TOUR membership for 2026.
- In his 52nd career start on Korn Ferry Tour, Doc Redman won the 2026 Astara Chile Classic presented by Scotiabank for his first Korn Ferry Tour title. Redman's five-stroke victory marked the largest margin of victory on Tour this season, and he rose to No. 4 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List following his victory. Redman, who played four consecutive seasons on the PGA TOUR (2020-23), has six made cuts in as many starts this season.
- Rookie Chad Sewell enters the Club Car Championship with back-to-back top 10s at the 119th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro (T9) and Astara Chile Classic presented by Scotiabank (T8). Sewell, who stands No. 26 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, played the last two seasons on PGA TOUR Americas and earned Korn Ferry Tour membership via 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
