- Cooper Dossey (T2/-13), who stands No. 13 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, logs his best 36-hole position on Tour since holding a share of the lead at the 2025 Evans Scholars Invitational (finished T9).
- Former University of Tennessee Volunteer Hunter Wolcott (T4/-12), who is competing as a sponsor exemption this week, and three-time Korn Ferry Tour winner Taylor Dickson (T4/-12) are the only players bogey-free through two rounds of play.
- First-year member John Marshall Butler (T4/-12), who earned Korn Ferry Tour status this season with a No. 7 finish on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List, logs a new high 36-hole position a second consecutive 6-under 65 (previous 36-hole high position: T18/2026 Club Car Championship/finished T53).
- In addition to Wolcott, University of Tennessee alumni Bryce Lewis (T9/-11) and Rick Lamb (T30/-8) make the 36-hole cut and will play the weekend.
- Lewis, who made two eagles (Nos. 7, 18) en route to an 8-under 63, stands inside the top 10 through 36 holes for the first time in his 33rd start on Tour (previous 36-hole high position: T24/2025 AdventHealth Championship/finished T53).
- Daniel Wetterich (T30/-8) posts a second-round 6-under 65 and is the only open qualifier to advance to the weekend.
