His mom, Lise (pronounced Lisa), took him to the driving range for the first time when he was three years old. He hit a bucket of balls and asked to hit another. Lise remembered an elderly gentleman asking how long her son had been playing golf. She said, "30 minutes," to which the man replied, "Don't change his swing."

Lise passed away in August 2013 at 55 years of age after she bravely battled breast cancer. Lise was crowned Miss New Mexico and represented the state in the Miss USA pageant in 1981. Lise launched an incredibly successful career at Mary Kay in 1984, as she went on to become National Sales Director of Mary Kay Cosmetics in 2002. Wyndham remembers how his mom often left notes of positive affirmation in his golf bag, backpack, and lunchbox as a kid, saying, "She was so positive and such a motivator in what she did."

Launched the PLAY BIG Foundation in 2024 to provide resources and stability for families affected by breast cancer, as well as empower the next generation of golfers through financial support and resources for youth development in golf. The foundation's name stems from Wyndham's mother, Lise, encouraging him to "Play big. Play for something bigger than yourself."

First vivid golf memory is making his first hole-in-one at age 6 while on a family vacation in the mountains, recalling, "I hit a driver from 125 and made it... I actually got on the front page of The Denver Post. I have that framed." His ace came on the par-3 12th at Keystone Ranch Golf Course. At the time, had a bet with his father, Randall, who promised to buy him a PlayStation if he made an eagle during the trip -- and he paid up.

Spent many of his formative golf years at Cherry Hills Country Club, as the family joined when he was 11 years old. Wyndham recalls, "My parents sometimes wouldn't be up early enough to take me, so I would ride my bike... I'd take the back roads and I'd get there before anyone at 6 or 6:30 a.m. and start practicing."

Inducted into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame on December 1, 2024, alongside five others -- including LPGA star Jennifer Kupcho. Previous inductees include 13-time PGA TOUR winner Dave Hill (1973), World Golf Hall of Fame inductees Babe Zaharias (1973) and Hale Irwin (1974), eight-time TOUR winner Steve Jones (1997), and 13-time TOUR winner Craig Stadler (2016).

In April 2025, Wyndham partnered with the Colorado Golf Association to host a new AJGA event -- The Wyndham Clark presented by Colorado Golf Association. The inaugural playing of the event was June 3-6, 2025 at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve in Westminster, Colorado

Hobbies include fly fishing and ping pong.

Big sports fan. Specifically, his teams are the Denver Broncos (NFL football), Colorado Avalanche (NHL hockey), and St. Louis Cardinals (MLB baseball).

Father, Randall, played tennis at University of Arizona and professionally until knee injuries ended his career.
