Entering the day with a narrow 1.5-point lead, Team Europe scored 102.5 points on Sunday to run away with the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children's.
They won by 16.5 points over the runner-up Team International.
Team USA’s Jason Caron was the leading point scorer for the event with 60.5 points, scoring double-digit points in each of the last four sessions.

Session 5 notes
- Team Europe’s players were leading point scorers in four of the six groups during the Morning Singles, scoring a total of 62.5 points, 11 more than Team International and 14.5 more than Team USA.
- In the first three groups, World Golf Hall of Fame member Colin Montgomerie (10.5 points), Team Europe captain Darren Clarke (11.5 points) and Thomas Bjørn (12.5 points) set the tone before Alex Cejka scored a group-high 12.5 points in the fifth Singles group.
- Team USA’s Jason Caron was his group’s leading point scorer for the third consecutive session, scoring 10.5 points on Sunday morning. On Friday, Caron teamed up with Stewart Cink to score 22.5 points across two sessions.
- Team International’s Steven Alker was the leading point scorer of the entire morning session with 13.5 points in the anchor group.

Session 6 notes
- Team International captain Mike Weir led the way in the second group of the afternoon, scoring 12 points. He and K.J. Choi (10.5 points), playing in the third group, led their respective groups in afternoon points scored for Team International.
- Caron added 11 points to lead his group in the afternoon, marking four consecutive sessions of being his group’s leading point scorer.
- 366 days after earning his PGA TOUR Champions card via Q-School, Søren Kjeldsen subbed in for Cejka and birdied his first five holes en route to 12 points in the fifth group of the afternoon.
- In the anchor group, World Golf Hall of Fame member Bernhard Langer played the first five holes in 6-under on his way to scoring 12 points.

Format and scoring overview
- In every group, all nine holes of competition will be played. No group will feature close-outs.
- A total of three points will be awarded on each hole of every nine-hole competition during Thursday and Friday’s team competition, as well as for Sunday’s morning and afternoon Singles groups.
- The team with the lowest score on each hole will receive two points. The team with the second-lowest score on a hole will receive one point. The team with the highest score will receive no points.
- Whenever teams finish with the same score on a hole, those teams will be awarded the same number of points.
- If two teams finish with the lowest score on a hole, each team will receive one and a half points. The third team, finishing with the highest score, will receive no points.
- If one team finishes with the lowest score on a hole and the other two finish with the same (higher) score, the team with the lowest score will receive two points, with the other two teams receiving a half point.
- If all three teams finish with the same score on a hole, each team will receive one point.
Definitions
- Six Ball (Best Ball): Each player plays his own ball for the entire hole, and the lowest score from each team is used.
- Scotch Sixsomes (Modified Alternate-Shot): Each player hits a tee shot, and the team then selects one tee shot to play from. Alternate-shot play begins from there, with the player whose drive was not selected hitting the second shot on the hole.
