      • This is his third ace on PGA TOUR Champions (previous: 2011 3M Championship; 2022 Mitsubishi Electric Classic).
      • This is the third ace of the 2025 season on PGA TOUR Champions (previous: Jeev Milkha Singh/Trophy Hassan II; Hiroyuki Fujita/Cologuard Classic).
    • Darren Clarke, who won the 2020 TimberTech Championship played at The Old Course at Broken Sound, posted 2-under 70 and sits T8.
    • Making his debut on PGA TOUR Champions, J.J. Henry (T66) carded 5-over 77.
    • David Frost withdrew during the first round.

    Team competition

    • In addition to the PGA TOUR Champions 54-hole stroke play event, there is a team competition that features 26 football legends.
    • Format: On Friday and Saturday, there will be 26 two-person teams (one Champions Tour player and one football legend) playing a two-man Best Ball. The counted score for each hole is either the Champions Tour player’s gross score or the football legend’s net score.
