Enjoys fishing, hunting, and skiing. His biggest catch is a blue marlin which weighed nearly 400 pounds. Also says, "I could see myself captaining a boat to The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, or Puerto Rico."

Finished No. 9 in the 2026 PGA TOUR University Ranking after two seasons at Auburn University (2021-23) and three seasons at University of South Carolina (2023-26). Performance benefits included Korn Ferry Tour membership for the remainder of the 2026 season (beginning with the OccuNet Classic presented by Amarillo National Bank) and an exemption for Second Stage of 2026 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.

In three seasons at South Carolina, earned five individual victories (and was credited with a sixth win as a co-medalist) and garnered a 2026 All-America Second Team honor.

Broke school records for career wins (six) and career scoring average (70.37).
