Met his girlfriend, Victoria, at University of Nevada, where she played five seasons (2018-23) and garnered a 2022 All-Mountain West Conference second-team laurel.

Favorite sports teams include the Sacramento Kings (NBA), San Francisco Giants (MLB), San Francisco 49ers (NFL) and New Orleans Saints (NFL).

Best golf memory as a fan is seeing Tiger Woods play at THE PLAYERS at TPC Sawgrass.

Earliest golf memory is getting a set of plastic clubs from his grandpa around the time he was age 3; he made his own course at home, hitting from yard to yard and toward manhole covers.

Grandfather, who he called Bumpa, was the only golfer in the family and the primary reason he got started with and continued to play golf; he lost Bumpa to cancer in 2022.

Father, Jon, was a track and field athlete at University of California-Irvine.

Father turned off "Barney" on the television and turned his son to golf. Immediately took to the sport and said he wanted to be like Tiger Woods.

Amateur Highlights

Did not have any scholarship offers coming out of high school and joined the golf team at University of Nevada as a walk-on during his junior year; he played four seasons at Nevada (2017-21), winning twice and finishing third in program history in career scoring average (72.32).

Garnered All-Mountain West Conference selections his final two seasons at Nevada.

Set the Nevada single-season scoring record during the pandemic-shortened 2019-20 season (70.21).

Qualified for the 2019 and 2020 U.S. Amateur Championships; he upset fourth-seeded Travis McInroe in the Round of 64 in 2020.
