Personal

Played lacrosse for 12 years and loves music.

Favorite sports teams are the New York Knicks (NBA) and New Jersey Devils (NHL).

Father, Morten, has five New Jersey State Golf Association victories: 2024 New Jersey Senior 4-Ball Championship, 2022 and 2023 New Jersey Senior Amateur Championship, 2020 New Jersey Four Ball Championship, 2012 New Jersey Pre-Senior Championship.

Younger sister, Anna, attends the United States Naval Academy and competes on the women's lacrosse team (spring 2023 marks her freshman season with the Midshipmen).

Amateur Highlights

Played four seasons at Rutgers University (2017-21) and transferred to University of Oklahoma (2021-22) for his final season of eligibility, ultimately finishing No. 7 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2022.

Won the 2021-22 Jack Nicklaus (Division I) and Fred Haskins Awards -- two of three collegiate national player of the year awards -- in addition to garnering consensus All-America First Team recognition, Big 12 Conference Golfer of the Year honors, and an All-Big 12 laurel in his lone season at Oklahoma.

In his lone season at Oklahoma, posted a 69.83 scoring average across 13 tournaments (35 rounds), which was the third-lowest single-season scoring average in program history at the time.

Highlights from his four seasons at Rutgers included a 2019-20 All-America Third Team honor, being named the 2019-20 Big Ten Conference Player of the Year, earning the 2019-20 Les Bolstad Award as the Big Ten's leader in scoring average, and two All-Big Ten laurels (First Team for 2019-20, Second Team for 2018-19).

Won once at Rutgers and twice at Oklahoma, including the stroke play portion of the 2021 East Lake Cup.

Between his sophomore and junior seasons at Rutgers, won two prestigious tournaments in the Tri-State area in summer 2019, earning titles at the New Jersey Open and Met Amateur.
