Captain and quarterback of The Westminster Schools' 2015 state champion football team.
His grandfather Jimmy Harper played quarterback for the University of Georgia and later served as a Southeastern Conference football official for many years. Jimmy is a member of the Georgia Athletic Hall of Fame.
Amateur Highlights
Played collegiately for five seasons at Furman University (2016-21), winning four individual titles and earning Southern Conference Player of the Year honors in 2018, 2019, and 2021. His 70.7 stroke average as a fifth-year senior in 2020-21 ranked second in program history, only trailing eight-time PGA TOUR winner Brad Faxon. His career scoring average of 72.0 was also second in program history behind Faxon's 71.78.
Joined six-time Korn Ferry Tour winner Stephan Jaeger as the only other player in league history to earn three Southern Conference Player of the Year awards.
Was a true walk-on at Furman, and did not have any golf scholarship offers out of high school.
In high school, was the 2014 and 2016 Georgia High School Player of the Year, led The Westminster Schools to state titles in 2014 and 2016, and captured the 2016 individual state title as a senior.
