Joined PGA TOUR Latinoamérica with a T20 finish at Q-School in Mexico and finished the season ranked 20th on the Order of Merit. Made the cut in nine of 13 starts, recording a win and another top-10. Made one Korn Ferry Tour start, missing the cut at the Digital Ally Open in his hometown.

Birdied six holes in a row, Nos. 4 through 9, on his way to a final-round-low, 6-under 65 to come from behind and win in Ecuador. As the only player to post four rounds in the 60s, finished two strokes clear at 14-under 270 at the Quito Tenis y GC in Ecuador.

Only other top-10 of the season came in the season-ending Shell Championship in Miami. Began the final round 11 strokes off the pace but fashioned a 6-under 65 on the final day at Melreese CC to move into a T9 with two others.

Earned conditional status on PGA TOUR Latinoamérica with a T20 finish in Mazatlán in January.
