Father, Chico, was captain of the 1984 United States Olympic soccer team and played nearly a decade of professional soccer in the United States (1981-90). He passed away January 25, 2021 after a four-year battle with cancer.
Got engaged at right as the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve.
Picked up golf in high school and has never had a lesson.
Earliest golf memory is the first time he beat his dad.

Amateur Highlights
Helped Barry University win its first NCAA Division II national title in 2007, finishing second individually and garnering All-America First Team honors.
