Father, Chico, was captain of the 1984 United States Olympic soccer team and played nearly a decade of professional soccer in the United States (1981-90). He passed away January 25, 2021 after a four-year battle with cancer.

Picked up golf in high school and has never had a lesson.

Earliest golf memory is the first time he beat his dad.
