Attended Cheney (Kansas) High School.

Has one sister, Chelsey, a former all-conference volleyball player at Newman University in Wichita.

Father, Mark, is in his 17th season as men's head basketball coach at Newman University, where he played both basketball and baseball. The Fugate Gymnasium court was named "Potter Family Court" in 2013 in honor of all that the family has done for the University.

Says if he weren't playing golf he'd own his own business.

Favorite courses he's played are The Olympic Club and the Atlantic Athletic Club.

Favorite teams are Newman University, the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Enjoys watching Kevin Durant and Peyton Manning. The best sporting event he's been to was the Kansas City Royals' Wild Card playoff game in 2014 against Oakland.

Would put his father, George Brett and Michael Jordan in his dream foursome.

Likes to vacation in San Diego and enjoys all kinds of pizza.

Not many people know he has Tourette syndrome and he would like to help others deal with the condition.

Home course is Crestview CC, home to the Korn Ferry Tour's Air Capital Classic.

Two-time Missouri Valley Conference first-team selection at Wichita State.

Was a two-time state high school champion and a two-time runner-up.

Qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur three times.
