Season Recap
2024 Season
Finished No. 8 on the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List, retaining PGA TOUR membership and improving his status for the 2025 season (top 30 from Points List). Earned PGA TOUR membership through the Korn Ferry Tour for the second time in his career, having previously accomplished the feat in 2019. Began the season with conditional PGA TOUR status and made four starts on TOUR prior to earning back-to-back victories on the Korn Ferry Tour in late May. One of five multi-time winners on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024, with his victories coming at the AdventHealth Championship and Visit Knoxville Open. Totaled seven top-25s and 12 cuts made across 17 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour. Ranked second on the Korn Ferry Tour in Final Round Scoring Average (67.58) and ranked fourth on Tour in Par 3 Scoring Average (2.97).
AdventHealth Championship
Birdied the first hole of a sudden-death playoff (par-5 18th) and defeated Tanner Gore as he won the AdventHealth Championship for his second Korn Ferry Tour title and first since the 2019 Price Cutter Charity Championship. Forced the playoff with a hole-out eagle from 83 yards on the 72nd hole of regulation. The victory at Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri was sweetened by the fact Higgs grew up in nearby Overland Park, Kansas. Higgs previously made his Korn Ferry Tour debut at the AdventHealth Championship as a 17-year-old high schooler in 2009.
Visit Knoxville Open
Won for a second consecutive start (and event) at the Visit Knoxville Open, becoming the 18th player (19th occurrence) in Korn Ferry Tour history to win consecutive starts, in addition to becoming the 14th player (15th occurrence) in Tour history to win consecutive events. Defeated Frankie Capan III with a 37-foot eagle putt on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff (par-5 18th at Holston Hills Country Club), making him the first player in Korn Ferry Tour history to win back-to-back events in a playoff. Also became the 13th player in Korn Ferry Tour history to win multiple playoffs in the same season.
