2017 Season
Made the cut in just seven of 17 starts during the 2016-17 campaign, but managed two runner-up finishes. Ended the season No. 142 in the FedExCup standings.
Barracuda Championship
With 44 points through four rounds at the Barracuda Championship, earned a spot in a playoff with eventual-champion Chris Stroud and rookie Richy Werenski. Was eliminated after he was unable to match birdies carded on the first extra hole (No. 18) by Stroud and Werenski. Led the field during the week with 27 birdies. Carried a five-point lead into the final round.
Sanderson Farms Championship
Not phased by a host of PGA TOUR rookies in the mix near the top of the leaderboard with him at the Sanderson Farms Championship, the TOUR veteran followed 5-under 67s in rounds one and two with a 70-68 finish on the weekend to claim a share of second place with Luke List and 2011 champion Chris Kirk at 16-under 272. Marked his third-career runner-up finish.
