When the Korn Ferry Tour's Instagram page posed the question of how to play the 773-yard, par-5 13th hole at TPC Colorado, this was Korn Ferry Tour member Nick Voke's lighthearted response.
For the inaugural TPC Colorado Championship at Heron Lakes, Korn Ferry Tour pros were treated to the longest hole on record for either the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions or Korn Ferry Tour.
The hole's scorecard yardage is 83 yards longer than the previous TOUR-sanctioned mark, the 690-yard, par-5 ninth hole at The Gallery GC, played during the TOUR's 1991 Tucson Open.
Prior to this week, the longest hole in Korn Ferry Tour annals was the par-5 fifth at Robert Trent Jones Capitol Hill (Senator Course), which played to 681 yards during the Korn Ferry Tour Championship from 2001 to 2005.
The longest hole in PGA TOUR Champions history is the 653-yard, par-5 first hole at Colorado GC, played during the 2010 Senior PGA Championship.
