Season Recap

2025 Season

Finished No. 98 in the FedExCup Fall standings, with his season highlighted by a win at the Bank of Utah Championship and subsequently taking up PGA TOUR membership. Victory at Black Desert came in his third start and first as a professional, making him the seventh player since 1970 to win his first PGA TOUR title within his first three career starts (fifth to win his first title in his third career start and first since Matt McCarty at the same event in 2024). One of 17 first-time winners during the season and the first sponsor exemption to win on TOUR since Nick Dunlap (2024 American Express).

Bank of Utah Championship

Playing via a sponsor exemption, totaled 22-under 262 at Black Desert Resort for a four-stroke victory and his first PGA TOUR title in what was his third career start on TOUR (and first TOUR start as a professional). Became the seventh player since 1970 to win his first PGA TOUR title within his first three career starts, following a group which included Seve Ballesteros (1978 Wyndham Championship), Russell Henley (2013 Sony Open in Hawaii), and Matt McCarty (2024 Bank of Utah Championship). Marked the first PGA TOUR win by a sponsor exemption since Nick Dunlap (2024 American Express). Led the field in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee, totaling 7.595 for the tournament, the highest total by any player who made the cut in a TOUR event since Rory McIlroy (2023 U.S. Open/8.285), and the highest total by a winner on TOUR since Dustin Johnson (2018 Sentry/8.902). Entered the week at No. 111 in the Official World Golf Ranking and moved into the top 50 (No. 43) for the first time in his career after the win. Prior to the victory, was in line to play the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season with fully exempt status by virtue of earning the Three-Victory Promotion and finishing No. 1 in the 2025 Fortinet Cup standings on PGA TOUR Americas.
