Had to birdie the last two holes of pre-qualifying to advance to first stage on the number during the 2021 Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament. Hit a 4-iron from 227 yards from the rough on No. 18 to three feet, and he finished T33 (33rd and ties advanced to first stage). Went on to earn conditional status with a T115 at final stage.

He and his caddie, Kyle Shealy, are best friends from back home; they used to travel to junior tournaments together.

His father, Kevin, played four seasons for University of Florida (1984-88) and helped the Gators win the 1985 Southeastern Conference Championship.

His sister, Sophia, was a standout junior golfer.

Played collegiately at University of Florida for five seasons (2015-20), but barely ever cracked the starting lineup, with his highest collegiate finish being a T15 the fall of his freshman season.

Finished second at the 2016 Florida State Amateur.
