Charlie Crockett leads by one after windy Round 3 at ATB Classic presented by Building Trades of Alberta

In the windiest conditions of the week, Charlie Crockett (Surrey, England) carded a third-round 2-under 68 on his 27th birthday to lead by one at 14 under entering the final round of the ATB Classic presented by Building Trades of Alberta. Corey Pereira (Sacramento, California) and Connor Howe (Ogden, Utah) are tied for second at 13 under as the PGA Tour Americas regular season concludes Sunday at Blackhawk Golf Club in Edmonton.

Crockett offset four bogeys with six birdies Saturday to overtake third-round leader Pereira, whose 2-over 72 was only his fourth round over par this season. Since joining PGA Tour Americas in 2024, Crockett has six top 10s in 29 starts, including five this season and a career-best T3 at the 71st ECP Brazil Open. He earned membership for this season as a First Stage medalist last year in PGA Tour Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, and he entered the week No. 23 on the points list.

Pereira, the No. 3 player on the points list, won the Mexico Championship presented by Scotia Wealth Management in June and is in contention for win No. 2, while Howe is 19th on the points list and is looking for his first victory in his 20th start on PGA Tour Americas.

Charlie Nikitas (Glenview, Illinois) carded the day’s best round, a 6-under 64, to improve 29 spots to solo fourth at 12 under. The second-year Tour member has top 10s in his last two starts, including a runner-up finish last week at the Digital Commerce Group Open. He entered the week No. 11 on the points list. Lance Simpson (Knoxville, Tennessee) shot 65 on Saturday and is one of seven players tied for fifth at 11 under.

After this week, the top 60 players on the points list qualify for the season-ending Dominican Republic Tour Championship presented by Scotiabank. At the end of the season, the top 10 players on the final points list will earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2027.
