Drew Goodman, Corey Pereira hold slim second-round lead at Digital Commerce Group Open

Drew Goodman (Norman, Oklahoma) carded a 9-under 61 Friday at Uplands Golf Club to share a one-stroke lead at 13 under with Corey Pereira (Sacramento, California) after two rounds at the Digital Commerce Group Open in Victoria, British Columbia.

A second-year Tour member out of the University of Oklahoma, Goodman finished No. 15 in the PGA Tour University Class of 2025 to earn membership last season. He has eight top 25s and four top 10s in 2026, with his best finish being T5 at the Explore NB Open in July. The 23-year-old is currently No. 16 on the PGA Tour Americas Points List.

Entering the week No. 2 on the points list, Pereira is looking to become the season’s first two-time winner. In June, Pereira won the Mexico Championship presented by Scotia Wealth Management in just his sixth Tour-sanctioned start since his wife, Leah, died from a rare and highly aggressive sarcoma last year. With three events remaining in the season, Pereira is in position to finish in the top 10 on the points list and earn Korn Ferry Tour membership for the first time since 2022.

First-round leader Ryan Voois (Orange County, California) recorded a second-round 67 and is tied for third with Charlie Nikitas (Glenview, Illinois) and Wil Gibson (Jonesboro, Arkansas) at 12 under. Étienne Papineau (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec), winner of the 2023 Digital Commerce Group Open, shot 64 Friday and is part of a seven-way tie for sixth at 11 under.
