    Tournament history

    Atlas Country Club has hosted three PGA TOUR Latinoamérica events (2013, 2022 and 2023). Back-to-back Jalisco Open GDL champion José de Jesús Rodríguez is in this week’s field. Rodríguez set the single-round course record at Atlas Country Club in 2010, carding a 61 in a Mexican Tour event. Rodríguez also set the cumulative tournament record in 2023 (20-under par, 264).

    Six players who finished in the top 10 of the 2023 Jalisco Open GDL at Atlas Country Club are in the field this week: Rodríguez (first, 20-under), Evan Knight (second, 17-under), Brendon Doyle (T6, 11-under), Luis Fernando Barco (T6, 11-under), Alexandre Rocha (T6, 11-under) and Josh Goldenberg (T9, 10-under).

    Fortinet Cup overview

    Nine players who finished in the top 10 at the Bupa Championship at Tulum will be competing at this week’s Totalplay Championship at Atlas Country Club. Aside from Korn Ferry Tour member Davis Shore (second, 4-under, lost in playoff), all remaining top 10 finishers will compete in the second event of the season: Clay Feagler (first, 4-under), Julián Etulain (third, 3-under), Joey Savoie (T4, 2-under), Travis Trace (T4, 2-under), Brian Carlson (T4, 2-under), Lawren Rowe (T7, 1-under), Patrick Flavin (T7, 1-under), Jesus Montenegro (T7, 1-under), Zack Fischer (T7, 1-under) and Devon Bling (T7, 1-under).

    Up to 15 Korn Ferry Tour cards are on the line during the 2024 PGA TOUR Americas season – five conditional memberships will go to the top players from the Latin America (two) and North America (three) Swings and the top 10 players in the season-long Fortinet Cup points list will earn exempt membership.
