Comes from a family of educators, his father an assistant professor at Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo and his mother a high school counselor.

At the 2015 Nature Valley First Tee Open on PGA TOUR Champions, won the Pro-Junior Division with playing partner Mark O’Meara at the event at Pebble Beach GC.

Father got him started in golf when he was age two. Joined The First Tee four years later, which he says was a big part of his game’s development.

Brother, Owen, plays college golf at the University of Oregon.

Was a three-time high school Pac-7 League Player of the Year at Arroyo Grande High. Led team to three consecutive conference titles, beginning in 2014.
