Adopted at age 15; he was born in South Korea, grew up in Maui with his aunt, got adopted and ended up in Boise, Idaho.
Volunteered and served as a standard bearer for the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui beginning at age 11.
Likes to work out, watch movies and listen to music.
Amateur Highlights
Played collegiately for four seasons at Boise State University (2009-13), where he won once as an individual and garnered a 2013 All-Mountain West Conference honor. His 11 top-25s as a senior in 2012-13 were tied for second in program history, only trailing two-time PGA TOUR champion Troy Merritt's 12 from 2007-08.
