Successfully defended his title at the U.S. Senior Open, becoming the fourth player in tournament history to do so, joining Miller Barber (1984-85), Gary Player (1987-88) and Allen Doyle (2005-06). It was his third win overall at the U.S. Senior Open (2022, 2025, 2026), matching Miller Barber for the most wins in tournament history. It was his 12th win on PGA TOUR Champions and fourth senior major title. It was his first win of the 2026 season and marked his fifth consecutive season with a win on PGA TOUR Champions.
