Chris Crawford (Bensalem, Pennsylvania) carded the day’s best round at Club El Rincón de Cajicá, a 7-under 65, and is one of four co-leaders through 36 holes at the Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship in Bogota, Colombia. Joining Crawford atop the leaderboard at 11-under are Mark Goetz (Greensburg, Pennsylvania), Drew Doyle (Louisville, Kentucky) and Justin Biwer (San Diego, California).
All four co-leaders entered the week in the top 40 of the PGA TOUR Americas Points List, with Biwer leading the way at No. 24. The 24-year-old rookie earned membership at PGA TOUR Americas Q-School in April and has made the cut in each of the season’s first five tournaments, including top-20 finishes in the last two events.
Doyle, a second-year member, is No. 29 on the points list on the strength of a T6 at the Abierto del Centro Zurich, and Goetz is No. 32 with two top-11 finishes this season.
First-round leader Sebastian Moss (Pearland, Texas) shot a second-round 70 and is part of a four-way tie for fifth at 10-under, while Canada’s Étienne Papineau (St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec) carded a 4-under 68 Friday and improved to T32 entering the weekend.
Saturday’s third round will feature twosomes off the No. 1 tee with tee times running from 6:30 a.m. – 12:25 p.m. CDT.
