Grew up playing and practicing at 3 Hammers Golf Complex in his longtime hometown of Wolverhampton, England, and later joined Patshull Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club.

Played junior events, but did not play a lot of competitive "club golf" growing up, electing instead to play and practice on the course with his own customized yardage setups, gradually adding distance every year from ages 7-12 -- a concept he and his dad subscribed to after Aaron qualified for and competed in the Boys 8 division of the 2003 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. The first time he played from the forward tees was around the time he was 12 years old, and moved to the traditional men's tees when he was 13 or 14 years old.

Uses iron headcovers. Aaron's father, Amrik, bought him a set of Titleist 690 MBs (with iron covers) when he was seven years old. After they practiced together, Amrik cleaned every groove with a pin and put baby oil on the face to prevent rust. Aaron recalls, "I learned early to value what I had." Aaron is also known to use a Frankenstein headcover -- a gift from his parents in his youth -- for his driver.

One of the few professionals who wears two gloves. Began wearing two gloves when he and his father played golf in the winter, and they later connected with a man in their area who crafted all-weather gloves. One day, after Rai had taken to the all-weather gloves, his father, Amrik, forgot to put them in the bag and Aaron played with a traditional leather glove, recalling, "I really struggled with grip... I always stuck with two gloves ever since."

As a child he dreamt of being a Formula 1 driver and often wore Ferrari apparel in junior golf competitions. Favorite driver was seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, best known for winning five consecutive world titles with Ferrari from 2000-04.

Loves soccer and supports Manchester United.

Loves Marvel movies, with Captain America being his favorite character and "Avengers: Infinity War" being his favorite movie. Also likes Star Wars movies, with "Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" being his favorite of the series.
