Is a huge hockey fan. Was a member of his high school hockey team that won a Provincial Hockey Championship.

Favorite professional team is the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs.

Is a bit of a mathematical genius. Studied actuary math in college at Kent State and was a two-time Academic All-American.

Loves wine and took a wine appreciation course during his time at Kent State.

Good friends with fellow TOUR winner and Canadian Mackenzie Hughes. The pair played junior golf together and were college teammates at Kent State. Hughes was by the green for Conners' first PGA TOUR win at the 2019 Valero Texas Open.

Along with fellow PGA TOUR winners Mackenzie Hughes and Taylor Pendrith, Conners was inducted into the Kent State Athletics Hall of Fame (also known as the Varsity K Hall of Fame) in 2021. Other notable members of the Varsity K Hall of Fame include 2003 Open Championship winner Ben Curtis (inducted in 2006), former NFL wide receiver Julian Edelman (inducted 2015), four-time All-Pro First Team tight end Antonio Gates (inducted as a basketball player in 2010), and legendary football coaches Lou Holtz (inducted 1990) and Nick Saban (inducted 2015).

Has two sisters, Nicole and Sarah. Nicole is his twin sister.
